What is the expiration date on Thayers witch hazel astringents and toners?
All of our witch hazel astringents and toners, except our medicated options, DO NOT have expiration dates. Our witch hazel products are all natural and have a natural preservative (grapefruit seed extract) that does not expire. However, we do recommend usage within two years of opening.

My witch hazel toner/astrigent has turned slightly yellow?
Variations in color and clarity within our products can be expected due to the naturally occurring ingredients we use. In addition to being a natural ingredient, Witch Hazel is also a seasonal item, and variations will occur during our cold press process. You can rest assured your Thayers product is still safe to use despite these variations.

*Thayers say that solution turning yellow is a natural thing due to it being under sun, does not affect the efficacy of the solution at all!

Can I use Thayers products while pregnant or during breastfeeding?
While every ingredient we use in our products is evaluated for safety, we do not specifically test our products on women who are pregnant or nursing.
