How to Use:
SPF should be applied daily (no matter the weather!) as the last step in your routine after your moisturizer & at least 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Shake before use. Apply liberally—more than your moisturizer—on face, neck and décolletage. Reapply every two hours.

Tips for Application

1. Let your skincare steps fully absorb before SPF application. After applying SPF, wait for it to set before makeup application to prevent pilling.
2. Work it in sections, blend in and pat in—don’t rub!
3. If reapplying over makeup or over facial hair, apply little dots and pat it in gently with your fingertips or a sponge.

• Niacinamide: A powerful vitamin and antioxidant that visibly reduces hyperpigmentation and sun spots by brightening skin and minimizing the appearance of pores.

Why was this formulated with mineral and chemical sunscreen actives?
We wanted to create a sunscreen that was the best of both worlds! By utilizing Zinc Oxide along with chemical sunscreen filters, we have created a sunscreen that is non-irritating and great for sensitive skin, but is also lightweight and blendable for everyday wear.

Does this work for all skin tones?
We formulated this product with all skin types and tones in mind. The lotion is not tinted, but is lightweight and is blendable with its mix of chemical and mineral sunscreen actives.

How was the SPF 50 level determined?
For SPFs, the formula goes through 2 different types of testing to determine their SPF number - FDA and Static ISO. FDA is calculated through Critical Wavelength algorithms which is accepted in the US and Canada. ISO is calculated through MED (minimal erythema response) ratios accepted in EU. Both tests holding similar 3 day test procedures with 10 subjects.

  Day 1 - Exposed without any formula protection to establish baseline per panelist
  Day 2- Panelist exposed using 2 test areas (one with our formula and one with a formula standard).
  Day 3 - Subjects are evaluated and a professional grader determines the redness using a grading scale. This scale generates and average result from panelists

Is it non-comedogenic/non-acnegenic? Is it suitable for acne prone, oily skin?
Yes, this formula provides hydration and protection without clogging pores. We have carefully selected our ingredients, especially Niacinamide for their benefits with oily skin. It has been tested by unbiased dermatologists and proven to be non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic.
